Given this at Christmas... knew nothing about it. Didn't turn out to be what i expected at all. The reviewers called it "visceral" "spellbinding", "brutal" and carnal. Not words you'd normally associate with vegetables. Elegantly and sparingly written but definitely worth all the accolades it garnered.
