A gripping emotional drama from the UK's bestselling women's fiction author, Jodi Picoult. Luke Warren would have slept in the dirt if it meant he could be under the stars. He lives by the laws of nature, and would surely want to die that way. But Luke is in a coma, and his family must make an unbearable decision. As tensions and secrets rise to the surface, the tragic accident which brought them back together against the odds could well tear Luke's family apart forever. They know Luke would not want to live like this. But how can they choose to let him die?

Not the best Picoult book I've read. I found the wolf sections a bit boring, but of course I got the symbolism... A good read anyway, and now it's on the way to the winner of November sweepstakes.

Thank you so much Piiku! The synopsis seems quite interesting, I love Picoult's books. This one will go to my huuuuge Mt. TBR for now.

This was quite ok but far from the best Picoult books I've read. In the beginning I was struggling with all the details of wolves, but in the end I learnt a bit. I sort of guessed the outcome, but not the last revelations. I always wait for nothing shocking in the end and Picoult usually delivers that.

Jodi Picoult - always interesting! Thank you.

I like the way Jodi Picoult always has more than one perspective on things. Here the children and the ex-wife AND the man in a coma himself take turns to tell the story. I liked the book.
