The secret meaning of nursery rhymes.

Interesting book, although I wasn't always convinced by his explanations. There were a few rhymes I'd never heard of, as well as the usual suspects.

I read this book on my way home from Europe. It moved quite quickly and was an interesting discussion of largely British nursery rhymes (a third or more were unfamiliar to me) and how they convey information on British history. I will never see Baa Baa Black Sheep the same way again.

This book is going to meet-up with me and hopefully going home with someone else. It seems like the kind of book that several people in the local group would enjoy!
