This didn't take me very long at all compared to my previous read (Great Expectation). As this started I was a bit worried about the amount of musical term were being used, but I stuck with it and it was a pretty fast paced read. Of the two stories, I preferred the story set in Italy (I seem the minority in this reading other reviews). I just felt the story of Julia was too unreal, I mean really - thinking your three year old is trying to kill you. The kid needed to be bit older for this to be more believable. The two stories did link up quite nicely towards them end, although part of it was a bit far fetched.

I really enjoyed this book, and found that I was totally lost in the timelines. This is definitely one of the best books I have read lately. An enjoyable read.
Releasing it to my friend.
Thank you, Chloe-chan!
I wanted to say that the book has arrived safely, and I'm very excited to sit down and read it! :-)
