I bought this because I was intrigued by The Dream of the Rood and wanted to read it. When it arrived it turned out that this is an academic text about the medieval manuscript. It does contain a rendition of the original text....in the original language. Several years on I still haven't read a translation of the poem. Still perhaps someone will find it of interest!
