picked up to read and release
In this volume we find out what is lurking beneath the school. Aki kidnaps Ceres and then is frustrated when she turns back into Aya. Aya's love for Toyā and his dagger worn on her as a pendant work as a sheild to block the progenitor. However when he has the lab try and erase her memory of Toyā it backfires in a way no one understands. Toyā rescues Aya and they escape with the help of the scientist who has been helping the Mikage clan with their c-genome project.
I am using this to seed a new graphic novel and manga book box.
I was surprised and pleased to find all 14 volumes of this series in the manga/graphic novel bookbox! I'd read Vol. 1, but not the rest, so I'm taking them all!
Later: Things are hopping now - oh, boy! The hints in the last volume about what can happen when mortals try on the Celestial garments bear fruit here, with a truly ghastly creature on the rampage. Almost made up for the increasing sexual-assault threats to our main characters...
[There's a TV Tropes page for the series, with comments on the manga and on the anime.]

I'm sending this 14-volume set to BCer azuki in Florida. Enjoy!
Thank you GoryDetails for the generous RACBK. I am so excited to read this as I am a fan of Yuu Watase since I was in high school.
Reading all the comments you and Nim wrote about this and previous volumes make me really look forwarding to the series. So lucky to have all the volumes together!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Poor Aya - keep getting assaulted by jerks...
While Aya and Toya are apart for most of this volume, it's also this time that they both realize the depth and truth of their love for each other. It's rather touching.
Watase mentioned in one of the side panels that she used to draw in a more shounen style. I guess that explains why some of the shots seem more to the taste of guys...
Can't wait to see what happens next. Slowed down a bit on the reading as I don't want to rush to the end, and also because a few other bookboxes are coming to my doorsteps soon.
