Sully: My Search for What Really Matters
3 journalers for this copy...
Donfiction bought this paperback at O'Hare, coming back from Chicago, where he was stuck for two days after a curling tournament. We watched the movie "Sully" last week, and it was very well done. I want to check out how the Hudson/airplane scenes were done! They were so real. And wow...Tom Hanks. From "Big" to "Roxanne" to "Bridge of Spies" to "Sully" - he is a regular Jack Lemmon; brilliant at comedy and drama. (I think he'd like the comparison with the late, great Jack.) Not sure if I'll read it or not...having seen the movie and I have a TBR mountain beside the bed. 'Might be a good book to take to our Jan. 21st meetup.

Picked this one up at our last Bookcrossing Meetup. My husband commandeered it as soon as I brought it home.

Nice to see you both yesterday at the meetup!
My dad only reads non-fiction and I think he'll enjoy this one so I picked it up for him. I saw the movie so not sure if I'll also read it.

Dad read this and thought it was interesting, but mentioned to me it was more about Sully's life than about the miracle on the Hudson. Given this, I think I'm going pass on this book and try to find a new home for it.
