I felt a bit ambivalent about this book. On the one hand, I kept reading because I wanted to find out what happened next. On the other, I didn't find the characters very engaging. Maybe I'm the wrong age to read this book. Also, the knowing nods to Harry Potter and the Narnia books got irritating after a while. I don't think I will track down the other books in the series.

I think this book has been on my wishlist for years now, so I was so happy to see it on the book tables in Oslo!
