This belonged to my Grandma. I haven't read it, and don't think I will, so I hope the next reader enjoys it as much as my Grandma did!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

With the awfully hot weather we've been having lately I've not been able to remember books once I've finished them
Don't think this was anywhere up to Ruth Rendell's usual standard but it did have some good elements.

Journal Entry 4 by Sherlockfan at Upper Hutt, Wellington Province New Zealand on Thursday, February 1, 2018
My entry above left a lot to be desired. I tried amending the release note to show it was going to Wellington Railway Station rather than Upper Hutt one but the edit did not take.
I did find a slightly amusing IMHO entry in goodreads that started off "Who are you and what have you done with Ruth Rendell? This is a distressingly ghastly book."
Not quite that bad but Ruth Rendell can usually be relied on for better than this.

Muddled it was and difficult for me to get into but you the finder might enjoy it. I'm struggling to find books to take with me to the Wgtn meet-up tonight.

Caught at the Feb meetup.

Not the most enjoyable book by this author - as Sherlockfan commented it was a bit muddled and didn't keep my attention the way her books usually do. There were a lot of characters I just couldn't bring myself to care about, and the scheming seemed more than a bit improbable.
