This is a really good thriller!!! It has flashbacks to WW2 and a group of four Norwegian soldiers signed up to fight at the Eastern Front against the Russians. Mixed in, are a series of seemingly random murders, including some of Harry Hole's colleagues, that may or may not be connected to Neo Nazi groups active in Norway. Is this connected to the four Norwegian WW2 vets? And what does Harry's new love interest Rakel have to do with it....?? Terrific end....!
