WILD RELEASE NOTES:
"A terrible time to be counted." Joseph whispered, patting rough fur. "We must go to Bethlehem, old donkey! Will you carry her?" From Nazareth they traveled both day and night, Eighty long miles ‘til Bethlehem was in sight. The little city was crowded with young and old, Not a bed to be had for silver or gold. Just plain country folk with a babe on the way, Poor Mary and Joseph had no place to stay. They prayed and prayed as they left the last inn, And a red-headed boy called to Joseph with a grin! "Come on! Follow me, to my Dad's stable, You can't keep going, your lady's not able!" Dusty and tired, they accepted with joy, And that very night she gave birth to a Boy. The old barn was filled with a glow from above, And the silence fell deep upon donkey and dove. Mary wrapped Him in swaddling, held Him close to her breast; And she knew deep in her heart the world had been blessed. And they lay down to sleep and drew a deep sigh, But the Glory of the Lord grew fierce in the sky. And shepherds in awe from the fields came by, Praising God for His Message brought from angels on high. The prophets had promised and now it was seen, From Heaven's own throne came the King of Kings. Such a night to remember, so Holy and rare, The Prince of Peace born in Bethlehem; God's own Heir. Jesus, Emanuel, brought Salvation for all. And a lowly old donkey carried Him to the stall. ~ Cousin, Sandye Tyree Killebrew
The clock is ticking to Christmas. Took this from the ABC Zone to give it a real "wild" release.
