100 Places You Will Never Visit: The World's Most Secret Locations

An intriguing round-up of places which are off limits to the general public. Some I wouldn't want to visit, such as the island populated by the most poisonous snakes on the planet. Others are a little more attractive, such as the vaults of the Banks of England, secret subterranean passages & various government buildings in London. Is there really a huge vault purely for the Coca Cola recipe? I'd like to believe so, though it sounds like a bit of a marketing gimmick to me! An interesting book to dip into every now & then.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This one's off on a festive journey. Happy Christmas, Dolph1n!
I have just finished reading a book about the places you should visit so I will now read where I won't visit. Thank you for this wish list book.
I wrote a review for this before I released it but it seems to have disappeared so I am editing this one.
This is a fascinating read. Some of the places sound very intriguing. Who knew there were so many top secret places in the world?
I worked with someone who worked at Porton Down for a couple of months. She said it was a very intimidating place to be.

The book arrived safely in Berlin. Am now curious how close I've been to one of those secret places.
Thanks a lot dolph1n!

Very interesting book! Well, living in Berlin, I've been close to one of the places. Also been on the beach next to Varosha, quite an eerie sight.

by post to romania
This book is so secret, that I forgot I had signed up.
What a pleasant surprise to find it in my postbox yesterday.
Edit: 22.07.2017: I had not expected to see so many military locations. Perhaps I misinterpreted 'secret'.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I was rather disappointed in this book. I was hopping to learn much more about these "secret places", details, pictures, etc. But I there were actually nothing new for me in it. It's just a list of place, with very little new information, most of it is already common knowledge. Same for the picture, nothing unique, mostly a few sketches or pictures that can be found with a quick internet search. Some places don't even get pictures, and only a few words!
OK, I'll admit, having a brother fond of "conspiracy theories" help having quite some knowledge about all this., but I was still rather disappointed by the lack of in-depth text on all these places.
Anyways, the book is finally on its way to the next reader (sorry for the delay). I hope you'll enjoy it more than I did.

Arrived today, thanks.
This is a very dense (and heavy) book! It felt a bit like reading an encyclopedia, lol. Parts of it are boring, parts chilling, and other parts very interesting. It's depressing to think of so much money having been put into fear and suspicion! This book took me a long time to get through. Glad to pass this on and turn to lighter, more enjoyable reads.

On its way to the next reader. Enjoy!
A sharp corner around
and a dip into a dead zone,
and not so much as a whisper
to greet you.
