Faeries' Landing, Vol.1

I found this fair-condition softcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It has some amusing twists on "Midsummer Night's Dream" characters (though the mythology is a bit of a mishmash), and while I wasn't crazy about the faerie who ever so cheerfully declares that she is the responsibility of the hapless mortal who accidentally shredded her robe, there were some fun bits here and there. (The transformation sequences included one where he wound up in the form of a martial-arts videogame character, and he wasn't happy about it!)
[There's a TV Tropes page on the series with some entertaining tidbits.]

I'm adding this to spacedog's Manga/graphic novel bookbox, which will be on its way soon. Hope someone enjoys it!
I've heard about this series, so am glad to find a copy here in the box. Thanks.
This Korean manhwa begins with a twist of the popular Asian folktale, about a fairy who stays on earth after a human male steals her robe. (Ceres is probably one of the more well known manga based on that story. )
While this manhwa is supposedly quite popular, as it ran 23 volumes long, I am not impressed by the first volume. Just very formulaic shounen manga, of a cute girl of supernatural origin who ends up staying in the teenager's house. The same cliche of cute girl wearing oversized shirts, headline news in school when it was known the two are living together... And seems like his harem is growing by the end of volume 1.
