serial novel by 15 of the brightest talents in Irish writing (including Marian Keyes, Pauline McLynn, Gina Moxley and Frank McCourt), telling an elaborate tale of murder, mayhem and literary shenanigans in present-day Dublin.

Brilliant read and so very Irish. Each chapter written by a different Irish author - very funny and rude. Brilliant ending !

I've really struggled to get into this one. Not sure why as I do like a lot of these authors. Anyway, rather than hanging on to it, I'll try and get it moving again.

Due to my Irish dog (a Glen of Imaal Terrier) I picked this book from our meet-up at Patisserie Florentin, Stockbridge. Mixed reviews, let's see how I like this.
It was great finally seeing you, bookfrogster!

Journal Entry 8 by wingkirjakkowing at Sipoo, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Saturday, May 27, 2017
Finished! It was a bit of an ordeal. I wonder how much was decided beforehand or did they all just continue from where the previous writer had finished, taking it to the direction of their fancy? A bit too long and violent a story and a disappointing end.

Will release this later in the summer somewhere in Ireland.

Pic: Avoca Handweavers were mentioned in the book. Visited them a year ago.
