Journal Entry 1 by TracyShannon from El Paso, Texas USA on Tuesday, March 09, 2004

4 out of 10

The subject matter was extremely interesting, but this book was hard to read. I didn't like the writing style. I have read other books on this topic that I enjoyed more.

From the back of the book: "Is the traditional, accepted view of the life of Christ in some way incomplete? Is it possible Christ did not die on the cross? Is it possible Jesus was married, a father, and that his bloodline still exists? Is it possible that parchments found in the South of France a century ago reveal one of the best-kept secrets in Christendom? Is it possible that these parchments contain the very heart of the mystery of the Holy Grail? According to the authors of this extraordinarily provocative, meticulously researched book, not only are these things possible--they are probably true. So revolutionary, so original, so convincing, the most faithful Christians will be moved; here is the book that has sparked worldwide controversy."

This book is MIA and has been for a year. I never could get a response from silentdormouse as to whether it ever arrived to her in the mail. She was experiencing some medical problems a year ago and I hope that she is okay.

Today, another BookCrosser, LyzzyBee, contacted me and offered to add the folks from my bookray to her bookring. Very kind of her!!! I've accepted. Here's the link to her copy of The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail

Well, it seems thta this book did not get much chance to travel getting lost somewhere between ariesgirl and silentdormouse.

The Lost Book Island resort has just the thing for this lost book, some rest and relaxation by the pool, long naps in the shade, and plenty of fun in the sun. We hope that one day this book will take us up on our map reading classes and figure out how to continue on its journey.

A new journal entry is hoped for, one that will show all where this book has been, who has had it, and where it might be going again some day.
