The Second Sister
3 journalers for this copy...
The 2016 Houston Quilt Festival was this weekend and I went specfically because Ms. Bostwick was going to be there with her books. I'm not normally an author groupie but the first book I read by her, five years ago, touched my heart at a time when I needed it so much. I met this gracious woman and she signed the two books I bought, gave me a cool pin and took a picture with me even though I looked like I'd come in from a stormy day.
I'm sure I'll enjoy this book and it will travel on, as a RABCK.

If you've found this book it is most likely a "wild release" please make a journal entry. You don't have to join the site to do it but it will let me know that someone found it. Then please pass it on when you are finished. Enjoy!

Added a label with the BCID, so this book is now official and joining book friends on the ABC TBR shelf. Thanks!
rabck from MyssCyn; political staffer Lucy swears she will never, ever go back to her hometown in Door county, a peninsula on the lake in Wisconsin. But when her sister dies, she has to stay for 8 weeks in order to inherit the house, otherwise the local animal shelter gets it. Alice's friends are hostile at first, until Lucy shows that she is taking a vacation and in good faith, is trying to understand Alice, her life after the accident, which by twists and turns, we find out bits and pieces of, and Lucy's role in the accident that left Alice brain damaged.
