One of my Mum's books, passed to me for bookcrossing. I've read a few books by this author and find them a bit hit and miss. Not sure if I will get the chance to read this or whether I'll release it to start it's bookcrossing journey straight away. Either way, I'm sure it'll find some appreciative readers out there.

Doh - I didn’t realise this was a stand-alone book. I would have read it ages ago rather than reading the various books prior to it thinking I needed to read in order :)

An interesting tale of life in the early 1900s in Mississippi.
