Kurzbeschreibung
Ein sozial-politische Satire: Die Queen gerät in ein Lesemobil. Wer hätte gedacht, dass Lesen politische Krisen entfacht?
Synopsis
"The Uncommon Reader" is none other than HM the Queen who drifts accidentally into reading when her corgis stray into a mobile library parked at Buckingham Palace. She reads widely ( JR Ackerley, Jean Genet, Ivy Compton Burnett and the classics) and intelligently. Her reading naturally changes her world view and her relationship with people like the oleaginous prime minister and his repellent advisers. She comes to question the prescribed order of the world and loses patience with much that she has to do. In short, her reading is subversive. The consequence is, of course, surprising, mildly shocking and very funny.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
The book now travels to New Zealand freu * am very excited if it arrives?
Before it is released, but an English label in the book should be. I had one at hand unfortunately. Will the text nor Google translate, because mine is very bad :D
Lieber Finder,

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
A wry imagining of the Queen's new found love of reading. A perfect size to take to Stewart Island next week for the Unconvention on Stewart Island. I wish I could read the earlier comments.
Journal Entry 6 by kiwiinengland at Stewart Island, Southland New Zealand on Saturday, October 14, 2017
Planning on reading this and releasing it elsewhere on the island!
Journal Entry 7 by kiwiinengland at Stewart Island, Southland New Zealand on Wednesday, October 18, 2017
A fun and quick read, I did enjoy the interaction of the Queen with Norman and also the way being a ruler made doing things for yourself so difficult (eg finding time to read, going to a library, enjoying a hobby).

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Happy Guy Fawkes Night.
I hope you enjoy this wish list book. The connection to the 5th November is that it revolves around a ruling British monarch.
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.
