I got this book just for Bookcrossing and will read and or release, I don't know which yet!
SFPD detective Lindsay Boxer is called to a hotel where three people have been murdered in two rooms while the security cameras malfunctioned. It’s seeming like a fairly normal case until she begins to learn who the victims were. And until her husband Joe crosses the radar as a person of interest in the case. Only Joe has vanished. What is going on?
I’ve been wanting the women in this series to work on a big case again, which they do here. Unfortunately, Yuki is lucky to get a cameo, and Clair and Cindy provide a clue each and are sidelined for the rest of the book. To make matters worse, Lindsay's husband disappears and she waits forever before trying to find out what he is doing(really?)
We don’t see much of the Murder Club in this book. It was mainly all about Lindsey and her frustration with her husbands (possible) betrayal and her dedication to a case that kept her child constantly in the hand of an always-available sitter.
At least the mystery was decent but WAY too much focus on relationships and not enough on the mystery.

Thank you for the books.
This story was mainly about Lindsay Boxer, the San Francisco police detective. After having her baby, she's lulled into domestic bliss and can't believe a murder could have anything to do with her. However, she is so wrong...................A good read!
Even though the story featured Lindsay Boxer without much input from Yuki, Clair or Cindy, the case she was working on was interesting. Joe in his job with either the FBI or the CIA, has caused Lindsay to loose her trust in him. The murder case she's working on becomes personal when Joe appears at the scene and becomes a person of interest. He has disappeared along with the blonde woman who was known to be in the murder room. A decent read.
