I got this softcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It's a very droll collection of Australian slang, turns-of-phrase, and insults, as well as things that sound like insults but (probably) aren't. [I note that "arse" gets most of a page all to itself for its many different possible uses!]

One of the more colorful-yet-benign terms was "useful as a chocolate teapot" (great mental image there).

I've heard some of these terms in recent use, but others may be rare, very local, out of date, or completely made up by the author - how could I tell? {wry grin}

I left this book in the Little Free Library near the historic old firehouse building at around 4 or so on this beautiful day; hope the finder enjoys it!
