I found this fair-condition hardcover at a Salvation Army thrift shop. Its handsome cover-art, showing Da Vinci's "Last Supper", intrigued me - but it turns out it's more of a Da Vinci Code-type conspiracy story, something that doesn't interest me at all. I browsed a bit to see if anything caught my interest, but it didn't; even the ending, which I skipped to in case the solution turned out to be worth wading through the rest of the book, struck me as anti-climactic and rather boring. Then again, I'm not one of those who finds the idea of a married Jesus, or a purely-mortal one, particularly earth-shattering... Perhaps someone else will enjoy this more than I did, and if so I hope they write a journal entry to let me know!

I left this book, bagged against the elements, at the roadside monument to the Westford Knight at (roughly) 15 Depot St. The monument commemorates a stone carving of what appears to be a medieval sword, which has inspired much speculation on its origin. The monument includes an informational plaque, a cast of the stone, and a lifesize effigy of a knight in armor - very cool!

Since this book is about conspiracy theories and codes, I thought it was suitable to leave it near an equally enigmatic spot {wry grin}. Hope the finder enjoys it!
