Working Stiff: Two Years, 262 Bodies, and the Making of a Medical Examiner

Taking this on an upcoming vacation!
In Working Stiff, Melinek describes her experiences as being a medical examiner in New York City. She relishes her often grisly work, sharing her fascination with the body and figuring out how people died.
In the last few chapters, she shares her experience as being a medical examiner after 9/11. I didn't know this was coming, and this part of the book was hard to read.
At the end of this book, there is a conversation between Melinek and Mary Roach, author of Stiff (which I really enjoyed as well).
An interesting read!

I will leave this book in the waiting area of Suite 100.
