Not a Brunetti story, but a new character Caterina Pellegrini. I've only skimmed it as I have too many books waiting to be read but it looks OK; don't think there'll be a series though.

Picked up at the Chelmsford bookcrossing meet. I have often been recommended Donna Leon books and as I'm told that this is a stand-alone book rather than the middle of a series I will give it a go.
A murder mystery set in Venice focussed on the inheritance of a once-famous italian composer. A reasonably enjoyable, light read, but somehow I thought it would be better. Pleasant enough when not in the mood for something more taxing.
