I am reading this now and so far it is holding my interest. A team of researchers are in Burma to look for evidence of what happened to the population of Pagan. But things are weird. One of the team is possessed by a demon. Another seems to have some as yet undiscovered link to the land and people of Burma.

A book of paranormal romance set in Burma. Simon is dark and dangerous, Kalla is strong and determined to be in control. (Are you rolling your eyes yet?) Alex, head of the expedition in Burma, used to be Kalla's fiancee but it didn't work out. Kalla, in an effort to please her dad, is going to try to win Alex back. But then there is that pesky Simon always rocking her world, and there is Mei, a beautiful and sweet Burmese woman that Alex is falling in love with. Simon is possessed by a warrior nat; that is like having another person move into your head and fight you for control of your body. Kalla has a voteress puppet that came from Burma. Kalla is American but part Thai or Burmese and this puppet seems to have some ideas and plans of its own that effect Kalla. There is some hinky stuff going on here with the nat and the voteress. Is it possible that Kalla and Simon are key to the future of Burma? Join us at the shrine/temple of Dhammayangyi and find out!
