Stephanie Plum is getting desperate. She's running out of leads in the search for Jimmy Poletti, who was caught selling more than cars out of his New Jersey dealership. Even Joe Morelli, the city's hottest cop, is struggling to find the criminal wheeler and dealer. Stephanie's No. 1 temptation, Ranger, is also struggling. There's a killer in town with a personal vendetta against him. If Ranger wants to survive, he'll need Stephanie's help - and to reveal a piece of his mysterious past. Death threats, highly trained assassins and highly untrained assassins are all in a day's work for bounty hunter Stephanie Plum!
Another fun installment in this enjoyable series.

Oops, I completely forgot to journal this book. Thanks to kinedi for thinking of me and bringing it to Lancaster. It arrived safely in Germany with me (unlike my suitcase, which is still travelling... after almost 6 weeks).
Chances are good that this book will jump the queue and make it to the top of my tbr-pile.

It did in fact! Jump the queue I mean. But again, I was too distracted, unorganzied, lazy or what ever to journal it at once.
It was my first Plum for quite a while and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The last ones were fair to middling, but in this one Janet and Stephanie are in full fig again. And I'll see Chihuahuas with completely different eyes now...

Thanks to missmalihini - looking forward to it and also here it will most probably jump the queue 😊
After reading the first couple of pages, I had to recognized that I had read it before, so it will go again on its journey at today's meetup in Frankfurt.
