*** The 7th Annual Becky's Hugs challenge - Sweet 16 edition (Feb. 2017) hosted by ResQGeek. This book is being released in memory of Becky Johns. The daughter of a friend of mine, she was killed on 30 August 2010 when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She would have celebrated her 16th birthday this year on Valentine's Day. Every year, Becky's friends remember her and celebrate her short life by releasing books in her memory. I am honored this year to do so as well.

Got this book Sunday at the BCinDC meet-up in Old Town Alexandria this past Sunday Feb.12th.

I read Marguerite Henry's book "Misty of Chincoteague" when I was young. I still have a copies of "Album of Horses" and "All About Horses" by Henry on my bookshelf. These books are beautifully illustrated by Wesley Dennis.

Released at Little Free Library #547 in Children's Garden at Brookside Gardens.

This book is being released in memory of Becky who would turn sweet 16 today. Becky loved horses and horseback riding. Becky loved all animals great and small.
