A first visit to The Railway pub to experience the bookcrossing, sausage (good veggie options) and beer.
I've heard this book is good. It is also short so there is a chance I'll get round to reading it soonish.

I read this book a very long time ago and can't remember too many of the details. Some years before that I had a friend who called it her 'Bible', a book to live by. I am not entirely sure she did that, on reflection. It is, of course, a manifestation of a story that appears in many times and cultures, the parcours of one who, from an early age, senses the limitations of their personal heritage, looks beyond the confines of their community, and pushes the boundaries of what others deem possible. It is not hard to see why it is inspiring, but how many of us are willing to pay the price of being truly pioneering spirits?
