Really fun book in which cats talk, read, open drawers, windows, and refrigerators, and put their dinner back in the fridge neatly, all while fervently investigating mysterious goings on in their California seaside town. They manage to obtain information no human could get, without even being noticed, because they are cats. They have personalities and tendencies that are confoundingly catty. Delightful! I plan to return this book where I found it, at Scarborough Animal Hospital. What a great idea!
