A friend suggested that this book is perfect reading for my trip to London, so I plan to take it with me.

From the back cover:
Richard Mayhew is a plain main with a good heart -- and an ordinary life that is changed forever on a day he stops to help a girl he finds bleeding on a London sidewalk. From that moment forward he is propelled into a world he never dreamed existed -- a dark subculture flourishing in abandoned subway stations and sewer tunnels below the city -- a world far stranger and more dangerous that the only one he has ever known.

Book has some water damage but is still quite readable.

Good book! And perfect reading for London. So many things, especially places, were so much fun to read about because I have just been to most of them. I don't think I would have gotten this much out of the book had I read it before visiting London.
