Journal Entry 2 by Alex26 from London , Greater London United Kingdom on Wednesday, April 14, 2004
Another one caught from Yoko. I've heard rubbish things about the film so I'm going to work on the basis that the book has got to be better then the film!

Journal Entry 3 by Alex26 from London , Greater London United Kingdom on Saturday, June 05, 2004
As I said, I heard rubbish things about the film so it's got be very different to the book. I loved the juxtaposition (is that how you spell it) of Vianne's and Francis' narratives, the richness of the characters, the gentle unravelling of the story and understatment running through out and if nothing else the mental images of all the yummy chocolates making my mouth water. To be released at the Cittie of Yorke meet up on Tuesday

Journal Entry 4 by Fire-Dragon from San Francisco, California USA on Wednesday, June 09, 2004
I picked this up at my first London meetup at Citte of Yorke last night. I have read other Joanne Harris books and found them mildly enjoyable. I think this is probably one of her better ones as it was a delightful film. A real comfort read.

Too many books to read, too little time! I've decided to let this one go - I'm sure I'll get another opportunity to read it and I've already seen the film twice.
