Wow thank you!! I was wondering whom this little book is from. Read a few pages and enjoy it already! Thanks!!
I read this during my Hurricane Irma read-a-thon: shuttered up inside the house with no electricity, what else can one do???
Nobody is safe from the selfish pig, not even Jesus, the pig wants his shroud to sell "should he catches on", nor Neil Armstrong, whom the pig beats (literally) to be first to step on the moon. Funny and at times hilarious, this was the perfect read in midst of a scary storm (which we came out relatively unscathed, thankfully.)
The pigs decide that they want to go eat some Andouillette ("I don't even like this stuff. I just want other pigs to die") so they will come with me to the Bordeaux BC con next year. Hope to see you there too, CatherineB, and thanks again for the book.

I was helping set up for the convention and for a short period of time was left to my own devices. I started putting the books left in bags without labels on the book buffet, then realized that I probably shouldn't and tried to put them all back in the proper bags. In the process, I came across this book and couldn’t resist it. I had to smile and shake my head at the greedy pigs. I tried not to draw any political associations, but didn't succeed. However, I will keep them to my sister. (ETA -- I happened to recheck this J/E in June and saw that either there was a Freudian slip or an autocorrect error. The last word should have been self, not sister.)
Caught at the Bookcrossing Convention in Bordeaux, France. It appears this was brought by Azuki (who is awesome) and Six read through it (who is also awesome).
Releasing around the BC-in-DC group.

I finally gave this one a quick read today! I'm not sure it's quite the humor I'd expected. While a lot of these are definitely selfish and funny (pigs trapping geese in a cage then putting on geese costumes to eat the bread crumbs people throw into a pond) some are more on the mean side (trapping people inside a room that's on fire).
Definitely awesome to get a chance to read such a well-traveled book, though!

Taking this to a BCinDC meetup in Rockville so it can find a new home!

Another book that found its way into my back at today's meeting. I may actually "read" (sort of...there don't appear to be many words) this book before I release it for someone else.
Ummm...selfish, perhaps, but rude, angry, mean spirited as well. A few of these cartoons were funny enough to get a chuckle, but I guess too much of it felt a bit to close to our current reality for me to find much humor in it. The attitudes on display in these cartoons seem to have become all too common, which probably makes this more of a commentary on society than it may have been intended.
