While not in the Zelandonii Territory of Prehistoric Europe during the Ice Age, the cover art of this book reminded me of the Cliff Dwelling Ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument http://www.arizonaruins.com/montezuma_castle/montezuma_castle.html here in Arizona, where fire restrictions were effect as the National Park celebrated 100 years this year. Such a great place to visit, although I haven't been there in years.
