Picked this up in a charity shop. Looks interesting.

There was something unsatisfying about this book. I can't quite put my finger on what it was. Apart from tha,t it was an interesting story, made more so because I have't really read many books set in Malaysia. Most of the action takes place during the 1950s and the 1980s, and it revolves around the lives of one family.
Think I will save this one for the authors from unusual countries sweeps.
