Not heard of this author, worth a try, thanks.
Update, Aug 2017
I found some of the writing unconvincing but the author had a good plot. Yet again, the blurb on the cover raised expectations too high.

Picked up at the Book Festival mini-meet up. Looks good.
This was okay. As a rule I don't really like books about domestic violence. I did really like Ayana's solution at the very end of the novel.
Arrived safely today. Thanks for the tag bookfrogster!
I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would given some of the earlier entries. I'll be keeping an eye out for the next book in the series.

Thank you for tagging me with this it looks really interesting. It may be a while until I can get to it because my TBR pile is massive.
Thanks too for the bookmark and all the BC supplies, these alway come in useful :-)

I enjoyed this, even though it made difficult reading at some points. I am looking forward to reading more in this series and seeing how the main characters develop.
