This one just didn't do it for me, which was disappointing, since I enjoyed These Girls by the same author.

The premise was interesting and the book started off promisingly enough, but the further along it went, the less I liked it. It seemed disjointed and unrealistic, and I felt that I knew more or less where the story was headed pretty early on.

This isn't my usual genre, so maybe that had something to do with it. I'm sure other readers will like this book; it just wasn't for me.

The title refers to Michael dying on the conference room floor, and being revived with an AED. Julia and Michael met in HS in West Virginia. Determined to be successful, they leave WV behind, and head for DC. Julia becomes an event planner, and Michael invents a smart water drink and is now worth 70 million. But after his near death, he changes - and the book bounces between present day and the marriage falling apart, and how the marriage started all those years ago.
