Oops, had a bit of a Book-Buying frenzy recently at my local car boot sale. Shame ay. Plan to read and release... Eventually.
I really did not enjoy this book. I don’t get the hype around it. I don’t understand the point of it. Was there a point? The ending the best and clearest part. But I still don’t understand what or why. Still, I survived the slow torture and tedium of reading it and never have to do so again.
Finally getting this one moving on. It’s off to visit with a fellow BookCrosser. Hope you be more out of this book than I did.
Lovely surprise to receive this book in the post from Shahrun ....thank you,I will add it to my 'to read' pile...and a pretty bonus postcard of beach huts included,very appropriate in this heatwave that we're having.
It took me quite a while to read (a thick book!), but unlike the previous readerI did enjoy it!...a good thriller and modern classic....see what you think.....
