This year seems to be a year of new authors with this being another! A girl at work recommended him to me so though why not. It is a pretty fast paced read, especially with the chapters being so small. It gets right in there with the action from the start with a flash back from the past, which makes the rest of the plot line quite obvious, you always really know who it is that's going to be after him, despite the route he has to take to find out for himself. I found it strange that while he was on the hunt for who was after him, he never really seemed to give much thought to his partner in the hospital, but maybe that's what soldiers have do. It stood well on its own considering it is quite far along in the series, and I probably would read another if it landed with me, but not sure I'd go out of my way to find more.
