A sugarsweet story if ever there was one with two totally implausible protagonists who are supposed to be 16 and 17 years of age respectively, but act like they are 30-somethings. Their parents, who can not be much older than 40 or 45, are depicted as ancient. Graham is followed by paparazzi everywhere he goes and yet when he visits Ellie at home or spends time on the beach, they have conveniently disappeared. That is not how I know my paparazzi! Except for one dramatic occasion that promises to have humongous consequences, but peters out just as quickly as it started and true to form, the paparazzi vanish into thin air again. This Is What Happy Looks Like is definitely not what a good novel looks like, but it makes for some light reading on a hot summer afternoon.
@rodespringbal: You should have read on. Nothing inappropriate ever happens between Graham and Quinn. It was just a misunderstanding. Graham is the perfect gentleman :)
