There's nothing wrong with a bit of silly fun. This is a fairly frothy and melodramatic affair but it's enjoyable and good for passing the time if you're not in the mood for anything too deep.

An entertaining mystery set in the world of the Elizabethan theatre - nothing very profound, but an enjoyable read.

This was fun! A good old historical romp - the dialogue and characters had a nicely Elizabethan feel. I read it all in one go - an afternoon well spent.

Fun tale - haven't come across much fiction set in this era that isn't focussed on the rich/royal.
