A Wall Street Journal columnist documents the decades-long friendship between eleven girls who grew up in Ames, Iowa. He follows them through weddings, childbirth, the death of children, cancer diagnoses, marital breakups.
I picked up this book yesterday, thinking that my Little Free Library needed some freshening up. But then I realized that "the girls from Ames" are about the same age as me. Now I think I might need to read this book before it makes its way to the LFL.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This book wandered in my neighborhood, apparently, and then came home to Little Free Library #22133, the barn-shaped one on Schneider Drive.
Time for the Ames girls to see a little more of the world, so they left suburban Waukesha County and went in to the city.

In the narthex, on a shelf beneath some pamphlets about Plymouth Church. The book had a yellow sticky note on its front cover. The sticky note lets the book's finder know that this is a FREE book on a journey.
