Sequel to "The Union Street Bakery"
Daisy McCrae knows that change can be sudden—and devastating. And while it doesn’t have to be a bad thing, change has the power to turn your whole world upside down....
Running the family bakery and living in the store’s attic might not be Daisy’s dream life, but she’s beginning to understand what being content feels like. And then she gets some unexpected news. In one moment, Daisy’s calm existence turns into chaos. Now she’s struggling to keep it together, especially with renovations at the bakery spiraling out of control.
But when a box of recipes and mementos is found hidden behind a wall in the bakery, Daisy suddenly has something to cling to—a mystery that echoes her own troubles and gives her the opportunity to figure out what she really wants out of life....

I really love this sequel from the book "The Union Street Bakery" : we follow Daisy with his new challenge in becoming a mother and always the bakery which takes a lot of his time.
Goes to Penelopewanders, in Switzerland, next participant to the ring. Enjoy !

The second in this series, and despite the title I was quite surprised by the plot twist. (no spoilers, I hope!) I was hoping to better understand the somewhat evil feeling ghost spirit, but that haunting appeared absent and was replaced by a gentler soul. Very good read here as a ring.
I have the next address, so now I just need to parcel and send this.

On its way to the next. Enjoy !
Arrived safely! Thank you very much ^^
The book is now travelling to rodespringbal.
I'm so sorry for the delay!
I actually liked this more than the first part. The ghost story wasn't as unbelievable and Daisy wasn't as whiny. Still it was rather cheesy ;)

Sweet Expectations runs a bit slow at times, but on the whole moves at a steady pace. Loved the sequel to Union Street Bakery! It literally drew me right into the life of Daisy’s other sister, Rachel. The bakery sure goes through a change, and the story rolls along as they try and figure out the story of Jenna.
And here it is again! But wow, it certainly took its time! Where have you been, book??
Anyway, home again safe and sound. Thank you all for the careful handling!
