Jessica Mayhew is a well-off psychiatrist. She is going through a rocky period of her life: her marriage is going through problems, and her husband has been unfaithful.
Annoying performer Gwydion Morgan, full of himself and of success wants her to heal his phobia. He expects her to be impressed by him and his family, but she almost knows nothing about him. He has weird nightmares in relation to the scream of a woman who was drowning: it was her au pair babysitter.
Jessica used to be qualified as an existentialist psychiatrist, and will help this actor to take control of his life.
Everything gets complicated. If it was not an accident, the death of Elsa Lundberg while working for this almost aristocratic family must have been a murder. So... who killed Elsa?
