ALL HAIL THE NEW VAMPIRE QUEEN!

Betsy Taylor is having a helluva week. She's been laid off, her stepmother boycotted her birthday party (again), her cat isn't speaking to her, she can count on one hand how often she's gotten laid in the last 18 months, and she's dead.

As if this wasn't bad enough, she can't seem to stay dead. She rises each night in search of unholy sustenance and designer footwear. Worse, the other vampires are convinced she's been Foretold... in other words, she's the new vampire queen.

More concerned with her looks than vamp politics, Betsy just wants to keep her head down and adjust to her new liquid diet. Trouble is, the only vampires who want her more than the good guys are the bad guys. And when the good guys are ruthless, and the bad guys are unhinged, and they ALL want to have sex with her to cement their power base, it's tough for a modern girl to keep her shapely butt out of trouble... and out of bed.

UNDEAD AND UNWED is rollicking, sexy good fun, sure to get your pulse rate up and your funny bone throbbing!

Bookray Rules

1. Reading has to be relaxing, I find. So I'm not going to set a rule that you have to finish the book within one month or within three weeks. But, of course it's not preferable that the book will stall somewhere. Please keep in mind others are waiting to read the book so keeping it for two months is not appropriate either. If you don’t think you will be able to read the book in a timely manner, please let me know. I can move you further down the list, if necessary.

2. When the book arrives, please let us know that you received it, by making a journal entry.

3. Start reading :-) When you're more than halfway through the book, PM the next person for their address.

4. When you've finished the book, make another journal entry with your thoughts.

5. Release the book to the next person on the list.

6. The last person on the list may release the book in the manner of their choosing!

7. Have Fun & Happy Reading!

This book was absolutely FANTASTIC! No, I really mean it. LOL I can't think of a single problem I had with this story.

This author had me laughing out loud throughout the book. I can't wait for more featuring Betsy and Eric to see what they get into next.

This book will be heading out to First-Noel and beginning its journey as soon as I get her address. I am really excited to see what everyone else thinks about this book.

Just received in the mail today. Can't wait to sink my "teeth" into this one. :-) (har har har). Perfect timing. I grabbed the wrong book this morning (one I had already read) and had nothing to read on the bus trip home from work. yay!

Journal Entry 6 by First-Noel from San Antonio, Texas USA on Saturday, April 24, 2004
Wow this really wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be the run of the mill Vampire Romance. It reminded me more the Southern Vampire series by Harris. Very cool, but darker and sexier than just a romance.

It was funny as hell too. I loved the comebacks Betsy had for just about every situation. I'm sure the people on the bus thought I was weird, I kept snorting each time Betsy cracked a joke.

Finally!! They unlocked my chains today and I was finally able to make it to the post office. This is on it's way as of 4:00 PM today.

I got it today. Actually I am sure it came last week but I recently moved and had to wait for the mailbox to be rekeyed, hold my mail, etc etc. Sorry for the delay. Will get to reading it here very soon.

Oh what fun. A cute little book to read in the office..

Forwarded on to Sidney1220

A delightful take on the vampire myth. I found myself reading into the wee hours of the night no matter that I have go to work the next morning. The heroine got on my never sometimes with her incessant wisecracks, but that's a minor quibble given how hilarious her antics are most of the time.

Passing it on to AZ628

Mailed this book today.

I must have forgotten to journal this when received. Sorry..

I had heard lots praise for this book so I quickly started on it. I thought it was very funny but it seemed to lack something. Not sure what. I will read any additional books by the author.

Thanks so much for starting this ring. I will be mailing on to the next in line tomorrow.

Journal Entry 13 by Neena11 from Melfort, Saskatchewan Canada on Tuesday, August 10, 2004

Perfect book to read on a lazy summer afternoon! I loved it. I didn't realize it was part of a series. Will be checking it out for sure. The book is on it's way to jewelmcjem. Happy reading. :)

Journal Entry 15 by jewelmcjem from Trenton, Michigan USA on Thursday, August 26, 2004
Just received from Neena11. Can't wait to get started, our local library is closed for the week and I'm getting the shakes!!!

. . .OK, several months later . . .

11/03/04

I really enjoyed this book! I was thinking it was part of another series when I got the notice it was on it's way. Pleasantly surprised to find another off-the-beaten-path vampire novel. I sure hope there are more!

Finally getting this off in the mail. I didn't realize I would be sending internationally, usually I join bookrays US only. I will go to the post office, but unsure how to send. May take me a while, please be patient!

Journal Entry 16 by jewelmcjem from Trenton, Michigan USA on Wednesday, February 23, 2005
I did it! I finally got my buttinski to the post office. I think I'm going to have to stop joining rays and rings for a while, I've stalled out two so far.

As an apology, I sent along the sequel as well, Undead and Unemployed. However, as the ditzy blonde that I am, I did not pull a BCID for it. Brujula, if you choose to send them together, please register it so we can see its journey as well.

Journal Entry 17 by Brujula from Valenciennes, Nord-Pas-de-Calais France on Thursday, March 3, 2005
The book arrived today, along with Undead and Unemployed (which doesn't have a BCID on it... what am I supposed to do?), and a nice magnet from Michigan!
Thank you jewelmcjem!

Oh.... I just read the last journal entry...
I don't know if the other people in this bookray also want to read the sequel. And I'm afraid it might take me a very long time to read both books before sending them. Hmmmm.... Why don't you register it, jewelmcjem, and then pm me the BCID, and I'll just ask the person after me on the list if she wants to receive both books?

Journal Entry 18 by Brujula from Valenciennes, Nord-Pas-de-Calais France on Monday, March 14, 2005
Read over the week-end.
Light, funny chick litt. Exactly what I needed, after a very long wait in Strasbourg's airport Thursday, a splitting headache, bad news on the phone....

I'll mail it on as soon as I have thinggtwoo's adress!

Thank you for sharing this, sharalsbooks!

Journal Entry 19 by Brujula from Valenciennes, Nord-Pas-de-Calais France on Wednesday, March 23, 2005
Mailing the book today!

edited in april 2006:
After mailing this book and not having any news of it, I did pm thinggtwoo to ask her if the book and its sequel (Undead and Unemployed) had arrived safely. She answered me she had received both books several weeks before and thanked me. I then asked her to journal them so everyone would know where they were, but had no answer to that pm.

Journal Entry 20 by sharalsbooks from Mesa, Arizona USA on Tuesday, October 4, 2005
This book appears to have gotten lost between France and Connecticut. I have unable to get an answer to my PMs to thinggtwoo so I don't know if the book ever arrived or when the bookray will resume its journey.

meshe in GA was kind enough to donate her copy of this book so I am moving the bookray to that copy. You can track its progress by clicking here:
