I found the Xanth books to get tiring after a while. While I happen to enjoy a good pun, or even a bad one, there is a certain "twee" feeling to these books. I especially dislike the overly cute women; they are just slight variations on the same character.

One or two bites of Xanth can be fun. I hope you enjoy this one.
