A text comprising seven essays on feminism and women's issues. They are "The Feminine Note in Fiction", "Women Novelists", "The Intellectual Status of Woman", "Two Women", "Memories of a Working Women's Guild", "Professions for Women" and "Ellen Terry".

Copied the above description from Amazon. Feel really that 'women's issues' isn't a term i'd use personally as these issues affect everyone; some men describe themselves as feminists nowadays whereas this would have probably been unheard of in Woolf's time.

This book is a series of essays, the references to organisations and people are of course now quite dated but the references section in the back is very helpful.

bought this as a booklot of these little 60s classic books as they're good for bxing and good quality.

Nice little book. Hope to read soon :)

Welcome to Bookcrossing!

You have found a travelling book. Why not join in the fun? Read, release and pass on but don't forget to write a Journal Entry telling us where you found the book, if you read it what you thought about it and where you are going to leave it. If you join bookcrossing before you do the entry you will get an alert when the next person writes up about it and can track its travels. If you prefer to just leave an Anonymous Journal Entry, it will brighten up my day either way. Oh and if you like the book sooooo much you just don't want to let it go that is fine too, maybe one day eh ☺

Enjoy!!
