Journal Entry 1 by CML from Riverton, Wyoming USA on Monday, March 01, 2004
Brianna Daniels, a modern day heroine, goes on a hot air balloon ride as a publicity stunt. Unbeknownst to her, Scott Martin, a 15 year-old computer genius tinkers below and accidently creates a time warp. Brianna is sucked in and switches places with her great great grandmother who is on her way to the Split Rock Pony Express Station as a mail-order bride to the station master, Lucas Daniels. Unfortunately Lucas didn't order a bride, the two Pony Express Riders did because Lucas is such a terrible cook. Lucas is there because he's been burned by love and wants to get as far away from women as he can- which in 1860 meant Wyoming. Now he's not only stuck with a woman he dosen't want, she's a woman with 21st century attitudes!

Was at the post office this afternoon....will read in a few days as I'm half way through another book.
Mar 13, 04 This was very well written and the characters came alive for me. It's been awhile since I read a book that pulled me in the way this one did. It was like I was right there watching it all happen.
If you're a romance/time travel fan this is the book for you!!
I'll be sending this on to mysterylady36 sometime this week.

Journal Entry 4 by mysterylady36 from Ashland, Missouri USA on Monday, March 22, 2004
Received this today as part of a bookring. I am looking forward to reading it this week and will journal again after I finish it.

Wow!! This was a great read. Very interesting twists and it really made some of history come alive for me. It is interesting to think about which events and/or inventions from today, someone from a future generation might be fascinated to watch unfold because of their historical value, but we take for granted because we live with them every day. I will definitely seek out other books from this author.
The book is ready to mail out to the next participant as soon as I receive their address.

I enjoyed this book very much. The only thing that I think would make this book better would be a little bit more about Anna and Tom.

Journal Entry 10 by Maurean from Atlantic Beach, Florida USA on Friday, April 23, 2004
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It's not my typical genre, so I had a time trying to wrap my little brain around the difference in the passage of time from one period to the next (after all, they were ALL here on earth, and isn't one day the same time length in the 1800's as it would be today?!), but that detail didn't stop me from being sucked right into the storyline! Loved every word of it!! Thanks a bunch, for sharing this one! I will have it in the mail to The-Abbott in MI sometime early next week.*mailed 4/27

Journal Entry 12 by The-Abbott from Lansing, Michigan USA on Thursday, May 06, 2004
I really liked the storyline of this book. The switching of Anna and Brianna was intersting and I enjoyed the details of living in the 1860's. A little dose of romance, a little western, a little science, who could ask for more. The 1860's characters show some depth and were believable, the 1995 characters were a little under developed.
I did wish that the editing had been done a little better. There seemed to be many missing words and some words out of place.
Thank you CML for the opportunity to read this book, I did enjoy it.
