Persuasion: The Jane Austen Series Volume 6
2 journalers for this copy...
While staying at the Marriott Hotel in St. Kitts, WI, I asked the front desk if they had any leftover books. Seven books were offered, and as luck would have it, "Persuasion" is the only Jane Austen novel I haven't read. It's a new edition, published in 2015 and printed by Amazon.uk. (I didn't know they were in the business of printing books.) Despite being under a year old..this copy was suffering from the usual high humidity of the West Indies, and the clear coating was starting to curl and peel off, so I've added some tape. Anyway....back to the content: so far, it's very good - the usual drama and comedy of manners, misconceptions, slights, family intrigue, inheritance complications, etc.
Kind finder of this novel: you have found a "travelling book" - registered on Bookcrossing.com, which is like geo-caching - only for books. Please take a moment to make a journal entry (see label inside the cover), and when you are done with the book, pass it on to someone else, and help its journey continue. Bookcrossing is free, and anonymous and aims to "make the whole world a library" and promote the love of reading.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I picked this book up at the BookCrossing meet at the Harbord Pub here in Toronto earlier in June. Jane Austen always takes the reader back to the early 19th century and the gracious living in upper middle class society. In "Persuasion", we follow the life and loves of Anne Elliot, her sisters, friends and family with the day to day adventures, heartbreaks and the eventual solving of all misunderstandings on the way. I have now read all 6 of Jane Austen's novels and am sorry that there are no more.
