From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

Amazingly enough I found 50 books under my bed in my boxes. The books came from various places and most were discounted in some way. Unless otherwise noted I do plan to try to read each and every one of these before sending them out into the world. If this book interests you please PM me and I will make a note to share it with you when I am done.
Here is a list of where I find most of my books:
Goodwill or Salvation Army stores
Library sales
Amazon.com
Powell’s bookstore
Borders
Annie Blooms Books
and any where else I happen to see a book that catches my eye :)
My youngest niece and I read this book and both enjoyed it. When I finally visit the Met I plan to look for Claudia and James. :)
Book Description
When Claudia decided to run away, she planned very carefully She would be gone just long enough to teach her parents a lesson in Claudia appreciation. And she would live in comfort-at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She invited her brother Jamie to go, too, mostly because he was a miser and would have money.
The two took up residence in the museum right on schedule. But once the fun of settling in was over, Claudia had two unexpected problems: She felt just the same, and she wanted to feel different; and she found a statue at the museum so beautiful she could not go home until she had discovered its maker, a question that baffled even the experts. The former owner of the statue was Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler And without her help Claudia might never have found a way to go home.

I haven't read the book yet, I found it today, but I'm hoping it's going to be good... I'm so excited!
I'm thinking of registering a lot of books and being really secretive about it. I'm going to be just like Amelie and do good deeds. But with books!
