The novel was very cleverly written and certainly brought a few smiles to my face as I read.I enjoyed it although I thought it was more a collection of loosely related stories than a novel. It began with the story of Noah from a different perspective - of a stowaway woodworm. The chapters had in common the subjects of woodworm, wood, Noah or tragedy on board boats! I liked the linking of the first chapter with two others which dealt with explorers looking for the remains of the Ark.
There was one chapter which didn't fit at all "Parenthesis"- interested to know what others think of the relevence of including it. I must admit I only skimmed that chapter!
Sending it on to Brendanobrien (a fellow Bendigonian) who successfully completed a challenge to wild release at least 2 books during March - with the aim of generating some interest in bookcrossing in Bendigo. Well done Brendan - hope you enjoy the read;
and thankyou dolphin-au for giving me the opportunity to read a book I never would have picked up.

I just had this sent to me in the mail from MeganH and am very happy to have received it...I suppose that means this is my first catch!

I'll read it as soon as I get the chance.

A friend found the book on a train in Melbourne and passed it along to me. I intend to leave it where someone else can find it and hopefully read it and pass it along to someone else.
