Friday's Child
1 journaler for this copy...
Different book cover displayed. Found this in a charity shop today. I was going to gift this to somebody but just realised I don't even have a copy of it myself (I thought I had all of them until now!)...so sorry, but this is going onto my Georgette Heyer bookshelf to re-read..
I probably first read this book about 45 years ago but remember very little about it. It isn't one of my favourite regency Heyer novels and is probably one of the books Georgette Heyer may have thought were rather daft herself. You could say that she was just writing a parody of some of the silly Regency/Georgian/Edwardian novels of the day but some aspects of it were quite amusing. The characterisations were over-exaggerated and represented as distorted versions of real people, but still likeable.
